HORIBA Jobin Yvon introduced the company's latest generation GD-PROFILER(TM) 2 glow discharge spectrometer. The instrument features a new high-speed electronics design that achieves a depth resolution of less than 1nm. At the same time, the system uses a well-known pulsed RF source that can easily handle the analysis of heat-sensitive conductive and non-conductive surfaces. The unique HDD detector allows the dynamic range of analysis for each element to instantaneously reach ten orders of magnitude. The large sample chamber of the instrument further expands its range of applications.
