Vibration cable installation instructions

The network system consists of a detector host and a dedicated sensing cable. The sensing cable is laid in a serpentine shape. The leading end is connected to the detector by a feeder. The nominal length of each feeder is 3 meters. The maximum length of each sensing cable is 400 meters.
working principle
The sensing cable consists of a core wire, a sound-absorbing film, a shielding layer, and an outer jacket. The characteristic of this cable is the sensing of surface acoustic waves. When such a cable is buried in the ground according to the design requirements, it can sense the faint sound waves transmitted from the surface. When the amplitude, frequency and other conditions of the acoustic wave meet the set requirements, the detector immediately goes to the host (usually The zone alarm host) sends an on or off signal to alarm.
Vibration cable installation precautions
1 Do not install during lightning storms;
2 Do not install the detector directly in a humid place;
3 Prior to installation and use of this product, workers should be prepared for safety education and technical training in advance;
4 Once an abnormal situation occurs in this product, it should be cut off the power supply first, and then make inspection and analysis to prevent the fault from expanding, and the warranty is stipulated;
5 Sensing cables should not cross each other and fit tightly. Excessive ones should be cut off (including feeders) and re-installed.
All cable and feeder corners should be guaranteed to transition with a curve without sharp corners or bends.
6 The sensing cable and the power cable and signal cable should not be placed close to each other. The distance between them should be greater than 20 cm.
7 In order to prevent cars and pedestrian influence systems in the vicinity of the warning zone from being used, the location of the sensing cable shall be more than 10 meters from the road and 3 meters from the sidewalk;
8 Must adhere to the principles of edge-by-side measurement and recording. All the connectors of the cable must be waterproofed. The resistance of the core and shield of the cable is infinite, the resistance of the core is not more than 50 ohms, and the resistance of the shield is not more than 100 ohms. Record the orientation of all joints for use when servicing.
Vibration cable laying
In a flat area with good soil quality, direct burial can be adopted
1 Dig a rectangular slot in the area to be protected. The slot depth is 15CM and the width is 100CM.
2 Tuck the bottom of the groove firmly.
3 The cable is laid in a serpentine shape at the bottom of the slot. The cable width is 80cm and the spacing is 30cm.
Prior to laying, all cable joints are properly handled and tested with a multimeter. All cable joint orientations are recorded and charted for maintenance. With a small amount of soil, the rounded corners naturally transition without sharp corners.
4 Backfill the soil (use fine soil as much as possible) to level the soil.
Note: This type of embedment method should be considered in the sand, slopes, and rocky areas to prevent soil erosion by piling and planting. To prevent people from cutting off cables, it is also possible to place wire mesh between cables and turf, and regularly place rodents at the same time. Avoid rats damaging the cable.
Vibration cable operation steps
1 Strip 7CM of sensor cable outer layer (use a utility knife to cut it carefully), remove 4CM of cable shield with a non-metallic tool such as a toothpick (be careful not to hurt the pickup film), and use tin on the end of the shield On the tin); the feeder core stripping 1CM on the tin.
2 Weld the core of the cable and the feeder core, and note that the welding is reliable, but the welding time should not be too long, so as to avoid excessively hot sound pickup film (feeder core wire should be first on tin).
3 Fasten the soldered joints with thin insulation tape (flatten as smooth as possible, do not hurt the sound film)
4 Tightly weld the cable shield and the feeder shield (welding time is not too long)
5 Use a high-pressure self-adhesive waterproof tape to tie the joints. The tape should be tied from the cable jacket. Carefully smooth and smooth. When the tape is stretched and tied, be sure to keep the hands clean and free of dust.
6 Put a layer of ordinary waterproof tape on the outside of the high pressure self-adhesive tape to increase the strength.
7 Note that the connector and contacts must be kept dry and the contacts must be soldered reliably. 8 The feeder itself does not generate a detection signal and can be embedded in the pipe.
