The high-quality light source is embodied in the following four points.

1. The light from the light source is full-color light. The so-called full-color light, that is, the spectrum is continuously distributed in the visible range of the human eye, and the vision is not easy to fatigue.

2. There should be no ultraviolet or infrared light in the spectral composition of the light.

Because of the long-term excessive exposure to ultraviolet light, it is not only easy to cause keratitis, but also damage the lens, retina, choroid and so on. Infrared rays are easily absorbed by water, and excessive infrared rays are absorbed in a large amount when the lens of the human eye is concentrated. Over time, the lens will be denatured and cause cataracts.

3. The color temperature of light should be close to natural light.

Color temperature is a quantitative indicator of the color of light by temperature. Because people live under natural light for a long time, the human eye has strong adaptability to natural light and good visual effect. The test proves that the visual contrast sensitivity under natural light conditions is higher than 5%-20% of artificial light.

4. The light is flashless.

The strobe light is an alternating change of light and dark at a certain frequency when illuminating. The normal fluorescent lamp has a power supply frequency of 50 Hz, which means that the light is emitted 100 times per second when it emits light. It belongs to the low-frequency stroboscopic light, which causes the human eye's regulating organs, such as the ciliary muscle and the pupil sphincter, to be in a state of tension regulation, resulting in vision. Fatigue, thus accelerating teenage myopia. If the power supply frequency is increased to hundreds of Hertz or more, or DC power supply, the human eye will not have a stroboscopic feeling, nor will it cause visual damage. This kind of light is called a no-frequency flash.

It is a high-quality light source that must have the above four requirements. There are different levels of deficiencies in many light sources on the market. For example, incandescent lamps, because the infrared spectrum exceeds 60% of the total spectrum of light emission, the full-color light balance is not ideal, and the color temperature is low, which causes a large amount of waste of electrical energy, which is also unfavorable to the human eye. Ordinary fluorescent lamps have a high frequency of ultraviolet light and a low frequency stroboscopic light, so the quality of the light source is not ideal. There are many electronically rectified energy-saving fluorescent lamps on the market. Some of the light sources are non-frequency flashes and full-color light, and the color temperature is closer to natural light. The disadvantage is that there is ultraviolet light.
