During the PM2012 Yokohama World Powder Metallurgy Conference in Japan, the fourth meeting of the Asian Powder Metallurgy Association was held on the morning of October 17th. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Kikuchi, and the agenda was the report of the Association Secretariat for one year of work and financial report. China's Powder Metallurgy Industry Technology Innovation Alliance (referred to as the Alliance) reported on the preparations for the Asian Powder Metallurgy Conference APMA2013 held in Xiamen next year, and discussed the host country and conference venue of the 2018 International Powder Metallurgy Conference PM2018. Because before the meeting, the chairman of the Chinese Union, Dr. Han Wei and the Secretary-General Dr. Han Wei represented the alliance, and formally submitted a written report on PM2018 to the Asian Powder Metallurgy Association Chairman Kikuchi and the Secretary General of Arai and then, after discussion, the fourth The second council decided that PM2018 will be hosted by China and co-organized by Taiwan. The venue of the meeting will be determined by the Xiamen meeting next year. The World Powder Metallurgy Conference is held in Asia every six years, and China has failed to bid twice. The Strategic Alliance for Technology Innovation in the Powder Metallurgy Industry has made great efforts for the successful bidding of the PM2018. Since last year, under the direct leadership and specific guidance of the Chairman, the Alliance has actively coordinated and eliminated interference on behalf of China. It has joined the Asian Powder Metallurgy Association, hosted the Asian Powder Metallurgy APMA2013 Conference, organized papers and exhibitions to participate in the PM2012 Conference. The group specially went to Japan to communicate with APMA headquarters and formally submit the bid report in advance, which laid a solid foundation for the successful bid to host the PM2018 World Powder Metallurgy Conference. In addition, the Council of Asian Powder Metallurgy Association decided to agree to China's CPMS, Malaysia and Australia three powder metallurgical organizations to participate in the Asian Powder Metallurgy Association. Because the chairman of the board of directors had another major meeting task, he could not travel to Japan and entrusted Dr. Han Wei, the plenipotentiary representative, to work in Japan.
