Jade main identification features and maintenance

maintenance

Wear jadeite should pay attention to maintenance, so that it will last for a long time.

After the jade is collided and rubbed, it may lose its luster or even be damaged. Each piece of jewelry should be stored in a single piece to avoid collision and friction. Be careful not to fall when wearing.

Wash quickly with warm soapy water to remove surface dust and oil, then gently wipe with cotton and alcohol, and then dry in a ventilated place, not exposed to sunlight.

Main identification feature

Cui nature: Regardless of jade raw materials or finished products, as long as you carefully observe on the polished surface, you can usually see the variegated intertwined structure of the piebald. Two kinds of jadeite crystals can be seen on one jadeite, one is slightly larger. The granular phenocrysts, the other is the fibrous small crystals intertwined around the phenocrysts. In general, the size of the same jadeite porphyry particles is uniform.

Stone flower: There are small clumps in the jade, and the white fiber-like crystals with poor transparency are intertwined with stone flowers. The difference between this stone flower and phenocryst is the plaque crystal transparent, the stone flower is slightly transparent to opaque.

Color: The color of the jade is uneven. It is accompanied by a different shade of green or black on the base of white, enamel pink, oil cyan, and bean green. It is also a shade on the green base.

Gloss: The emerald is bright and shiny, with a bright, soft and strong glass luster.

Density and refractive index: The density of jadeite is large, and it sinks rapidly in tribromomethane. The similar nephrite, serpentine jade, grape stone, quartzite jade, etc. are suspended or floated in tribromomethane. The rate is about 1.66 (point test), while other similar jade are lower than 1.63.

Inclusions: The black mineral inclusions in the jadeite are mostly melted, the edges of the particles are loosely cloud-like, and the greens become deeper around the black inclusions, with the saying "green as the black goes".

Water-holding is strong: that is, a drop of water is dropped on the finished jadeite, and the water droplets are raised higher.

In short, the main identification features of jadeite are: uneven color, prolonged green trend; strong glass luster with oil; plaque interweaving structure; cool feeling, the color does not change under the Charles mirror.

Titanium is used in steel as an alloying element (ferro-titanium) to reduce grain size and as a deoxidizer, and in stainless steel to reduce carbon content.Titanium is often alloyed with aluminium (to refine grain size), vanadium, copper (to harden), iron, manganese, molybdenum, and other metals. Titanium mill products (sheet, plate, bar, wire, forgings, castings) find application in industrial, aerospace, recreational, and emerging markets. Powdered titanium is used in pyrotechnics as a source of bright-burning particles.
