1. Based on the type of gas used: natural gas stoves, artificial gas stoves, liquefied petroleum gas stoves, and induction cooktops.
2. Depending on the material: there are cast iron stoves, stainless steel stoves, and enamel stoves.
3. Classified by the number of burners: single-burner, double-burner, and multi-burner stoves.
4. By ignition method: electric pulse ignition stoves and piezoelectric ceramic ignition stoves.
5. According to installation method: countertop stoves and built-in stoves.
Inlet methods for built-in cookers:
Currently, there are three main types of air intake: under-the-counter air intake, top air intake, and side air intake.
1. Under-the-counter air intake, as the name suggests, involves drawing fresh air from below the cooker to supply the oxygen necessary for complete combustion. The advantage is that it produces a larger flame and higher heat output, aligning well with the cooking preferences of many Chinese families. However, when installing an under-the-counter air intake cooker, it’s important to ensure there is a secondary air intake channel in the lower cabinet. Without this, insufficient air could lead to incomplete combustion, resulting in high levels of carbon monoxide, which might cause serious issues like explosions or panel ruptures.
2. Top air intake stoves do not require holes to be drilled in the cabinet. Instead, they rely on a higher burner to draw air in from above. While convenient, these stoves are less efficient in practice due to their lower thermal efficiency and inability to reach high temperatures effectively.
3. Side air intake stoves feature an air inlet located in the relatively cooler areas of the panel. As combustion occurs, it creates a negative pressure inside the stove, pulling cold air through the air inlet. This design ensures adequate primary and secondary air supply for combustion while significantly reducing the occurrence of yellow flames and carbon monoxide levels. Additionally, any leaking gas can escape through this inlet, preventing potential ignition hazards. In case of a gas leak explosion, the airflow helps expel the gases quickly, reducing internal pressure and minimizing the risk of the glass panel breaking. Furthermore, cold air entering through the air inlet keeps the countertop glass much cooler. These stoves can achieve a thermal load of up to 3.8 kW.
