On December 20th, the National New Materials Key Platform Symposium was held in Beijing. Wang Jiangping, member of the Party Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Wang Jiangping pointed out that the national key platform for new materials is an important part of China's new material industry system construction, and it is an important starting point and key work for us to promote the development of new materials industry. To promote the construction of key platforms, we must work hard on top-level design and system planning, reflecting multi-party cooperation, coordinating forces, and integrating resources. It is necessary to realize that the construction of key platforms is not a “single hammer sale†but a long-term business. It is necessary to fully reflect the public service function of the platform and solve the common problems of the development of the new material industry, and truly become an important functional carrier for the development of the new material industry. It is necessary to integrate the platform construction with the long-term development plan of the unit itself, give full play to the market advantage, and innovate the operational mechanism.
Wang Jiangping emphasized that the national new material testing and evaluation platform should further clarify the functional positioning, build brand and tree authority, give full play to the role of alliance, and strengthen resource integration. Production and application demonstration platforms should adhere to market-led, government-driven, productive and cooperative development, and do a good job in service and open sharing. The resource sharing platform should work hard on the system mechanism while clarifying the six major functional modules, and clarify the operating entities and data property owners.
Wang Jiangping requested that the lead units should further enhance their sense of mission, responsibility and urgency, build a new key material platform, and provide guarantees for the construction of a strong country and a network powerhouse.
