Sinopec Science and Technology Development Project jointly undertaken by Shanghai Engineering Company and Shanghai Petrochemical Co., Ltd. – an annual production of 400,000 tons of PTA oxidizing and refining optimized consumption reduction technology development and application, passed the expert appraisal.
The main achievement of the project is to establish and improve the mathematical model and database of PTA process simulation, complete the whole process simulation of PTA process; improve the oxidation recovery heat recovery rate by optimizing the oxidation condensation process; develop the full utilization of oxidation reaction by-product Energy-saving technology of low-pressure steam turbine driven air compressor; developed a new process of “one-step†pressure filtration separation process instead of pressure centrifugation + re-slurry + vacuum filtration separation process; successfully developed titanium internal wave externally The PTA oxidation condenser of the heat pipe, the large air compressor unit that drives the air compressor with the low pressure steam turbine as the main power, and the key equipment such as the integrated pressure filter; the research and development of many unit technologies and key equipments have been in Shanghai. In the transformation of energy saving and consumption reduction of petrochemical annual output of 400,000 tons of PTA plants, industrial applications have been successfully realized. The operation results show that the production equipment is stable and the comprehensive energy consumption is reduced from 167.93kg standard oil/tPTA before the transformation to 126.68 standard oil/tPTA, reaching the contractual index.
Experts believe that the research results of this project are innovative. They have applied for 8 patents, 5 have been authorized, have the right to operate freely, the overall technology has reached the international advanced level, and the economic and social benefits are significant. It is recommended to speed up the promotion and application.
