The rapeseed stem weevil, also known as the rape weevil, is one of the important diseases in the production of rapeseed. The larvae drill the tender stems, and the adults feed on the leaves and stems, which seriously affects the yield.
Hazard characteristics: mating and spawning in mid-March, the eggs are produced in the small holes in the tender stems of rapeseed. The larvae are hatched in the late stage, and the stalks are drilled and eaten, and the pith in the stem is damaged and tunneled. The growth and knot angle of the damaged plants were blocked, and the grain could not mature in early yellow, and the whole plant died. In the middle and late May, adults feed on the epidermis of leaves and stems, which is less harmful.
Control measures: 1. Soil treatment. Before the rapeseed is planted, 40% methyl isothiophos, 50% phoxim 250-300 ml, 40-50 kg of toxic soil per acre are selected, and combined with site preparation. 2. Agricultural control. Rotating crops; cultivating strong seedlings for wintering, enhancing plant resistance; filling the convulsion water and destroying the living conditions of stems. 3. Pesticide control. Each acre is treated with 20 ml of long-acting spirit plus 2.5% of enemy killing 10 ml of water against 40 kg of spray.
