The 13th Five-Year High-Tech Development Third Seminar was held in Beijing

From December 22 to 25, 2009, the High-tech Development and Industrialization Division organized a seminar on the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, the leaders of the High-tech Division of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the High-Tech Center, the Torch Center, and the Remote Sensing Center. The meeting conducted a detailed discussion on seven technical fields and industrialization environment construction research reports on information, energy, advanced manufacturing, materials, transportation, earth observation and navigation, and modern service industries, especially the cross between various fields. There was a full exchange of needs and issues related to each other. The meeting held that the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" should be guided by the Party's 17th National Congress and the Third and Fourth Plenary Sessions of the Seventeenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, with the support of science and technology and the steady and rapid development of the economy as the fundamental starting point. Focus on strengthening traditional industries, nurturing and developing strategic emerging industries, and doing something. It is necessary to strengthen the synergy among various technical fields, strengthen the organic combination of technological innovation and institutional mechanism innovation, and give play to the basic role of policy guidance and market allocation in resources, so that the objectives and tasks of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” and the current economy Social development needs are closely related.
The conference was the third seminar of the 12th Five-Year Strategic Plan in the fields of high-tech development and industrialization. On the basis of the opinions formed at the meeting, various fields will form a draft for the “12th Five-Year Plan” for the development of science and technology.
