"This is a 3D printer," explained the staff. "After scanning an object on-site, the machine can produce a 3D model based on the digital data. If you already have 3D files, you just need to input them into the printer, and it will create the object." They added that the materials used in 3D printing vary, including PVC engineering plastics, photosensitive resins, and gypsum powder. Different models of printers come with different price ranges depending on their capabilities.
Many visitors asked whether the parts printed by the 3D printer could be used in real applications. "Take these motorcycle parts as an example," the staff said. "They are printed based on the manufacturer's 3D design. If you choose high-quality materials, they can be installed and used directly."
