CAD software is an essential tool for any design work, and I’ve always been interested in the latest developments in CAD technology. At the beginning of this year, Zhongwang Software launched Zhongwang CAD Touch, which I downloaded and tried right away. I was excited to see a CAD software that could run on an iPad or iPhone, and I learned that an Android version would be released soon.

Using Zhongwang CAD Touch, our designers can not only save their work on an iPad but also take advantage of the “cloud service†feature, provided they have an internet connection. This allows us to continue working from anywhere.
When it comes to actual operation, opening a design drawing in Zhongwang CAD Touch lets you view both model and layout spaces, and switching between them is effortless. You can also manage layers easily, making it simple to organize your designs.
Efficiency and a smooth user experience are key to a great CAD software, and Zhongwang CAD Touch has completely won me over. It allows me to quickly browse, edit, annotate, measure, and correct errors directly on the screen—just by swiping my finger. Everything feels natural and easy.
Unlike traditional desktop CAD software, drawing lines, scaling, or adding text in Zhongwang CAD Touch is straightforward and seamless. Designers can adjust the view range in the layout with just a tap. Everything is simple and intuitive. Lastly, selecting graphical objects is smooth and doesn’t cause any confusion.
