Carbohydrazide properties and applications

Carbohydrazide crystallized from aqueous ethanol. Also known as carbazone, 1,3-diamino urea, carbohydrazide. The aqueous solution is alkaline, hardly soluble in ethanol, and insoluble in alcohols, ethers, and benzene.
