The new type high manganese steel crusher hammer with TiC cermet rod is a good substitute for high manganese cast iron complex crusher hammer.It solves the problem of easy to be broken with high hardness in high manganese crusher hammer, furthermore, the wear life could be increased 1.5 times, delivering fewer change-outs, more up time ,and lower maintenance costs. The titanium carbide inserts provide structural strength to the hammer while the manganese or wear alloy give the hammer the flexibility to handle the impact. Both alloys work together to lengthen the overall wear life of the wear part.

2,Wear-resistant alloy parts materials  is mainly used  for heavy machinery

,it can improve service life. Pick contact directly with the rock , so it is life directly influence boring machine's efficiency.Lot of boring machine such as S100,EBJ1600 with a lot of disadvantages like low hardness,

poor wear resistance,big coefficient of friction,poor corrosion resistance,low thermal conductivity and so on .The titanium carbide based cermet can be used in bad working environment,

and it can growth the life.The titanium have strong high temperature resistant corrosive,so it is composite materials also have such characteristics.

Below is the design chart we made for our European customer on the high manganese wear parts bottom side:

Using steps as follows:

1) .Please soak TiC rods into borax solution, dry them before use. (Borax resolution: deoxygenation process and make sure the tight bonding with TiC rods and wear parts.) [For fresh TiC rods, ignore this step] 2).Weld iron nails onto TiC rods. (electrical arc welding or argon arc welding both OK) The main purpose of iron nails: fix TiC rods in the molds. Because the density of TiC rods is lighter than that of molten steel, to avoid TiC rods floating on the surface of molten steel. Whatever methods adopted, the most important thing is to fix TiC rods in the molds.

3).Put the TiC rods with nails into the mold. (see picture for reference) 4).Pouring molten steel, the casting temperature of molten steel: 1480 degree centigrade for 13% high manganese, and rise temperature accordingly if casting a single wear part over 30kgs.

2.For EPC ( Evaporative Pattern Casting) to make crusher hammer head in small /medium size.
