The self-sufficiency rate of potash fertilizer industry in China has reached 50%

China's potash fertilizer industry has developed rapidly during the “11th Five-Year Plan” period. At present, a complete industrial system such as scientific research, design, equipment manufacturing, construction and installation, production, sales, and agrochemical services has been formed, and the market competitiveness has been continuously enhanced. By the end of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan”, the self-supply rate of potash fertilizer production will exceed 50%.

Statistics show that currently there are 25 resource-type potash fertilizer enterprises above designated size in China, and they have reduced by 3 compared with 2004 due to merger and reorganization.
