In production, grass ash and vermiculite are often used, and 3 kg of decomposed chicken manure and 0.3 kg of diammonium phosphate are added to each cubic meter of matrix. After mixing with the matrix, the seedlings are placed in plastic bottles, bags or wooden boxes.

In addition to the use of substrate seedlings, nutrient soil can be prepared, made into nutritious earth or placed in a seedling container for seedling. The materials and formulas used in nutrient soil are as follows: 1 breeding cucumber seedlings: 50% of fertile soil, 20%-30% of decomposed horse manure, 10%-20% of decomposed chicken manure, and 10% of Chen furnace ash. 2 Tomato and celery seedlings: 50% of fertile soil, 10%-20% of decomposed horse manure, 10%-20% of decomposed chicken manure, 10%-20% of Chen furnace ash. 3 aubergine, green pepper, zucchini, cabbage seedlings: 40% of fertile soil, 20% - 30% of decomposed horse manure, 10% - 20% of decomposed chicken manure, 10% - 20% of Chen ash. 4 Bean seedlings: 40% of fertile soil, 30%-40% of decomposed horse manure, 10%-20% of decomposed chicken manure, and 10% of ash. In addition, 250 g of ammonium sulphate, 500-600 g of diammonium phosphate, 250 g of potassium sulphate or only 1.2-kg of compound fertilizer should be added per cubic meter of nutrient soil; plus 65% of sensen zinc powder 50-60 g 50% carbendazim powder 30-40 grams.
