Platts Energy Says China's September Oil Demand Has Increased Over 5 Years

According to data reported by foreign media agency Platts Energy on October 24, China’s apparent oil demand reached 35.53 million tons or 8.68 million barrels per day in September, an increase of 5.1% year-on-year.

From January to September this year, China’s apparent oil demand reached 317.7 million tons or 8.25 million barrels per day, an increase of 10.2% year-on-year.

Statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics on October 21 showed that China's crude oil processing volume reached 34.91 million tons in September or 8.53 million barrels per day, an increase of 6.35% year-on-year, and an increase of 0.52%. In the first nine months of this year, China processed a total of 310.74 million tons of crude oil, an increase of 13.48% year-on-year.
