Australia proposes approval of BASF's fungicidal metoprazine

BASF's fungicide Methioxamone was approved by the Australian Pesticide and Veterinary Medicines Agency APVMA. After 28 days of public comment period from December 7, the new drug will be officially approved in Australia. This product is used to treat powdery mildew on grapes and cucumbers. BASF used Vivando in Europe and South America to promote grapes, fruits and vegetables. This original drug was also recently registered in the United States.
